Helle Trolle and Anne Louise Berg have graduated from Kolding Design School in 1993 and 1994, respectively, and Anne Mette Larsen from The Aarhus Academy of Art in 1999. What they have in common is a production of woven unique textiles for decoration and exhibition purposes as well as minor series productions in their own workshops.
Furthermore, they engage themselves in free-lance tasks for the industry, in small industrial productions and in teaching as well. All of the three are active members of various committees such as The Association for the Purpose of Yarn (Garn-indkøbs-foreningen), The Textile Printers’ and Weavers’ Guild (Stoftrykker- og Væverlauget), The Danish Arts and Crafts Organisation (Danske Kunsthåndværkere), and The Municipal Committee for Pictorial Art in Aarhus (Århus Kommunes Billedkunst-udvalg) .
The possibility of an exhibition became the incidental start of their co-operation. Since then, it has turned out that the working together releases an unexpected potential that makes it possible to develop concepts and produce works which are asked for and arouse interest. The process of splitting up a task into different parts that are delegated, results in a work area more extensive and complex than the one which the members would, separately, be able to cover. As a whole, the members of the group have in very short time gained an acknowledgment which it would other-wise have taken years to obtain.
